Director of Professional Development, Graduate Division
Shawn has been involved with Beyond Academia since its inception, first as a graduate student organizer and now as the primary staff advisor. She graduated from UCSB in 2018 with a PhD in Linguistics and has worked for the Graduate Division since 2014. Shawn supports all areas of the BA organization and directly oversees the marketing and communications aspects of the group.
