Graduate Career Counselor, Career Services
Lana Smith-Hale is UCSB's Graduate Career Counselor who works with grad students and postdocs. She received her B.S. in Psychology from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and her M.A. in Social Work from the University of Southern California. She worked in the nonprofit world for 9 years before transitioning to her current position, where she finds great joy in helping students find happiness in their work. Lana supports the programming and fundraising aspects of the BA conference.
