Finding Careers Outside Academia.” She earned her Ph.D. in English at Princeton University and has been a regular columnist for the Chronicle of Higher Education’s “Beyond the Ivory Tower” column for more than a decade, as well as a frequent speaker at universities across the nation on alternative careers for graduate students. She is a partner with Storbeck/Pimentel & Associates, an executive search firm specializing in higher education.
